why i always keep finding only animals of Q10?!

i increase quite all skills and all tools to at last 15 or 20

and yet every fucking bunny i found is level 10

took me ages to kill a moose and was level 10 too

what i am doing wrong? i mean god i should at last find one level higher if is random

that or loftar curse me -_- cause god i been playing for weeks and all i find is level 10 (animals)

Every projectile You hit with, reduce the quality of animals to quality of projectile, so after tons of stones You used, it's get back to 10Q. As said previously.

I remember those Q1 horses from people I live with xD

Best if you can learn the melee combat exploits for hunting until things are "reasonable" for the average player.

Or make a better quality bow so you can use good arrows that won't softcap the animal so much. There's a variety of ways to be creative with the system such as drying a high quality hide and using it to make hide straps for the strings. Try trading for one from neighbors (though doubt they'll have one because of this issue.)

Forget ranged in case you can't produce projectiles of higher quality than the prey you want to go after.
