Time between taming attempts

Hey everyone.
I was wondering if the time it takes for an animal to go into fighting stance that is specified on the RoB Taming page is still accurate or if there is maybe a more up to date time. It's been longer than 26 hours and I'm starting to get worried that my mouflon is broken :(

Make sure its leashed to a hitching post, It shouldn't take that long.

If it's not hitched, it'll despawn when the map is unloaded.

It can, or rather, it may be that long or longer before you see it. If you're not logged in when it goes aggro, then you can miss your opportunity, and it may lose tameness or even despawn. However, I understand that even if you're logged in the whole time, it can take longer than is normal.
