How do i start combat?

Played this game a while ago and used to punch boars and bears to death. wanted to try out the new combat system so i learned hunting and got my UA skill up but i cannot seem to find out how i actually initiate combat. ive tried right clicking left clicking and ive looked at all my options in the adventure/other menus but cant find any "attack" sort of option

Remember to set up your deck in your menu, and to press the attack button on the bottom left main menu, and then click on what you want to attack
