Why is there no knives, potatoes, porridge/kasha and soups in the game?

Because the developers haven't created them yet (or ever). Why these things anyway? What would a knife do over another butchering tool?

Things can be repaired, you should probably go play and learn stuff before asking any more questions. Besides there are knives in cutlery and there is the cake knife.

You mean the repair of cutlery? Of course i was talking about hunting weapon.
