Mapfile warning

Postby Granny » Sun Apr 09, 2017 8:20 am

I have a problem with the map. There are many black tiles on a pre-explored map, these tiles moves around every time I log on. It's been that way a long time, and I do not know how to fix it. Help please? I use Enders client and have made a post about it in the Ender thread, with no response. I see the Amber client have the same problem, the mapfile warning.

I do not see any response in that thread either regarding this issue. Is this a client thing or? How have people fixed this?

it happens to me when i'm logged in on 2 accounts on the same time.

I'm sure it has something to do with 2 clients not being able to access the same map file tiles simultaniously, and then for some reason, the client just decides to never read those tiles again.

I'm not sure how to fix it though.

Simple: don't run multiple clients.

Thanks for the answer. Now at least I know what is causing it. I'll just live with it then.

i had these messages until I cleaned the folder at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Haven and Hearth\data

i'm still using 2 clients sometimes, but so far didn't run into this error again, of course I lost the map info I had
