Is there a way to toggle conveniece bonus?

No. But why would you want to do things slower if your char has a bonus?

Devs should start selling ring in the store that you can equip and customize how much slower you want to progress your character. Changes would be permanent and could only be changed downwards from your current procession % in order to avoid abuse.

It becomes difficult to cut just 1 block when you're fully boosted on convenience. I've been irked by it too, I don't want to make a block pile right now I just want 1 block for fueling the fire. You can of course work around this, but I understand the request.

Misc stuff. What Sevenless said and, for example, crafting on an anvil with 0 bonus is so slow that stamina regenerates at the rate it is drained. You just load lots of stuff, press craft and it won't stop until everything is done, you don't have to drink, you can afk.
