Few questions about Taming.

Postby MadSpaceMouse » Wed Apr 12, 2017 10:57 pm

Hello Ive been given a lot of different info from diff ppl about taming.. so I am here to ask few questions..

1. I was told that I must not attach a wild animal to the hitching post when punching it to tame it? is it true?
2. Do I hit peace before i do the first punch or after the first one?
3. How much space is enough space for 1 animal?
4. How do i unattach an attached animal from a hitching post?
4. is there anything else I should know ?

p.s i can punch to death any of the tamable animals without taking any hhp dmg or bad injuries .

1) it shouldn't allow you to rope it to do that while fighting anyway.
2) doesn't matter, you just want to be peaced before you would kill it
3) Space doesn't matter, so it's more about how well you can move around them when milking/slaughtering. That's really personal preference.
4) I think if you're talking a tamed animal, you click the rope one them once to rope them to you, then again to unrope them.
4.2) Always make sure to rehitch them after a taming fight, or they will disappear. Don't use super damaging hits like sword attacks unless you know how much HP they have and how much you deal. You can kill the animal that way.

Thank you What i meant was when they enter the combat mood they are still hitched to the thing right .. and after I win the fight they drop the rope.. is that normal?

It's been a bit, but I thought they unhitched when combat started and you needed to rope them then hitch them to make sure they don't despawn.
