New Wound: Infected Sore

Postby ZantetsukenX » Thu Apr 20, 2017 9:56 am

So it looks like one of my tiny deep cuts turned into an Infected Sore. I looked through Gauze, Leeches, Mud Ointment, Stinging Poultice, Toad Butter, Yarrow, and Stitch Patch. Which leads me to believe that the new high level herb that was added might heal it. Anyone else find any leads on getting rid of it?

Here's a picture of it's information:

Ancient root heals everything, otherwise I would experiment. However, I can confirm that gauze, stinging poultice, yarrow, and waybroad do not heal this wound (or at least according to their tooltips.)

EDIT: You may try looking for the new herb introduced in this patch, chamomile.

Or it'll just increase the value of roots significantly. Sounds like it's in line with his general wound rework motif: "Walking around with untreated wounds is bad, mmmmmkay?"

Oh really? Mine went down from 2 value to 1 overnight. I wonder what affects it.

They had a system where there was a default healing value, and it was modified by wound volume. So if your wound was over X points of damage, it would increase rather than decrease.

I can only hypothesize that if this wound does increase, it would use a system similar to that. Heal if it's small, get worse if it's bigger.
