Cock+Hen Quality

I bought 50QL Cock+Hen for market
my Chicken Coop's Swill is 55.8QL , Water QL 27

I put bought Cock+Hen into chicken cup
Quality dropped from 50QL to 40QL the next day


It was written that it is not affected by the quality of water
Why will it be 40QL?

Does the quality of the chicken coop also influence?
Please tell me the calculation formula

(56+27)/2 = 41.5

food + water is added, then averaged.

unfortunately you cant remove water from a coop, so let it drain as low as possible then add good water.

and since most people just fill it entirely it's best to bash the coop after taking swill out
