Equipment with Melee Combat gilding slots?

Postby Riou1231 » Sat Apr 29, 2017 11:53 am

So I've looked all over the wiki and so far the only equipment I can find with Melee Combat gilding slots is the Hirdsman's Cape. I don't know if I've missed anything, but are there other equipment that provide Melee Combat gilding slots?

I've just gotten access to Fancy Buckles, but I feel like it would be a waste if I used them as the first gild on an item, since the chances for a second gilding slot would presumably go lower? I don't have much experience with the Gilding system aside from just slapping gilds onto items. I'd appreciate it if someone could give a decent explanation of how the system works.

Thanks in advance.

There is not currently enough variety in how gildings work for there to always be a "primary gild". Melee equipment is often gilded onto linen clothes, simply because high quality linen pants are easy to spam produce.

So there's nothing wrong with slapping a fancy buckle onto whatever you want. Just remember the item you gild it to, its quality softcaps the quality of the fancy buckle.
