Quest within Someone's Property

Postby Kaghogre » Mon May 01, 2017 3:19 am

What do I do when a quest tells me to go into someone's property? Am I just unable to finish the quest? This is silly. Hope I get a reply soon. I haven't even seen any other players yet, just a bunch of Hearthfires.
I don't want to say who's property it is 'cus i don't wanna get ganked lol

You can turn criminal acts on in the adventure menu to be able to walk inside their property, unless there's a wall there.
Also since I've ignored quests almost completely I don't know for sure if you're able to complete them without something other
than trespassing (which is the only criminal act you can even do at the start)
if the quest is just talking to some tree then I think it should work

There's a wall around the entire property.

You can abandon the quest, and if you have no other active quests eventually a new one will be generated. Alternatively you can spend 2k XP to get a new one.

Kinda sucks, but it's how it goes. Quest givers are just natural objects, possible the people living on top of it weren't even aware it was a quest giver originally.

Which leads back to the standing suggestion that objects on (p/v) claims should not be eligble as questgivers when generating new quests.
