Poor Man's Belt

I read on the wiki that I can equip a 2nd tool (In my case preferably a shovel) to the belt and use it to be switched to. Maybe I'm just stupid but how do I do this?

Right-click on the belt and an EXCEEDINGLY TINY window appears, place the backup tool in there.

It will swap out for any job order that requires the tool.

NOTE: It will NOT switch weapons for you during combat, so if you use your sharp tool as a melee weapon and you go make boards, remember to manually swap your saw back for your weapon (or shield, if you use one).

Once you get some metal you can also make a hunter's belt that gives two equipment slots, very cheap and useful
