Cypress wood, where do i find it?

As the title states, been searching the map for a couple of hours now, and of all the time i played besides that, still havent seen one?

Where am i not looking?

Are you using a custom client with cypress trees enabled? Have you paid attention to which biome colours you're in and checked the world map to find the other biome types within semi reasonable walking distance?

I spent an hour on horse hunting for a juniper tree. Biomes have clusters this world, so you can spend a long time in a group of 3-4 biomes before breaking into another cluster.

I have ritten quite a distance atm, and been in all sorts of different biomes, even entered one with totally pink grass, was sure that was the one, but no cypress.
Do you happen to know whick biome they are in?

I am using Amber, and i have the map settings to find Cypress. Works with all other trees, so can't see why it shouldnt with Cypress.

Unfortunately I don't. I've seen it, but it's not local to the biome I spend most of my time in so I wouldn't know where I saw it.

dunno the names of the biomes, but ive found cypress in the standard green grassy lands, as well as on the edge of my nearby swamp (though that could be from another biome that borders it). i dont really care what kind of wood i find though, other than "if its red ima keep dem blocks for later"

Cypress is unique because it has a psychedelic blue texture to the board colour. It's pretty neat.
