why are there 10 ton walruses in front of my house

I logged in and i saw a GROUP OF MASSIVE WALRUSES THE SIZE OF MY HOUSE. Are they friendly, what do I do with them, and should I run?

A) That's not aggro range. They can aggro from about twice that range from my experience. Amber client just uses that as a warning.

B) You assume they weren't intended to torment unwary hearthlings.

C) Never ever settle within minimap view of a beach. Don't end roads within a minimap of a beach. Fear the waterbear.

also also aslo! if you attack one while other are around they will all attack you. a buddy and i found that out the hard way, we actually managed to get one by itself and it ran away in the ocean, we found it and i attacked it and it ran towards his friends thats when i knew i was fucked...
