1) It's an established world, ask your neighbours nicely. If you get a B12 to the head, good time to find a new place to live anyway.
2) Windsown seeds give seed types based on where they're from. You've probably picked all the useful ones near you, walk. Walk in a straight line away from your base for 20 minutes, then fill up on nothing but WWW. Do this with each cardinal direction until you get the seeds you need.
