Is it time to wreck it?

I went on adventures in my newly built knarr late last night, By early morning i found myself and my comrades beached just on the shore. Firstly I have no idea how it happened as i tested the road and i landed in the water yet with the knarr and my shipmates i was just short. Now after having several guys try and help in the last 6 hours and not getting anywhere i am reaching out for any pointers and tips to getting the knarr free.

Or is i time to make a wrecking ball?

Roads do not have a 100% predictable landing point. Hitboxes influence it, as does the direction you approach the road. As to the boat, I can't think of any way to save it. I doubt you could build a road sign close enough to access without it turning.

Also probably worth throwing into bugs. Either knarr should reliably land in water or it shouldn't be allowed to use roads.

Ive heard of roads being built close enough before infact i have 3 guys here who have done it in the last month although this seems to be a particularly nasty case :C

You can do it sure, but I did a bunch of testing with road endpoints and I couldn't find a way to make them predictable. Probably what happened is that your knarr landed with the hitbox slightly on the roadsign due to the angle so you got your position randomized.
