Hunt Small Critters

Squirrels? Takes some running, but doable.

Rabbits run faster than you can sprint, so I guess you could trample them off of horseback but how do you capture them alive for breeding purposes?

I have no idea how to hunt mallards. Any ideas?

If any other tricky small critter appears from updates, feel free to post hunting techniques here.

(Beavers are surprisingly vicious when agressed)

I can catch up with them, but if you have problems, catch them from the boat.

first couple rabbits take luck, or a clovered horse. After that wear bunny rabbit slippers, it gives you a speed boost when hunting them.

Mallards from horseback, chase/trample them over land on speed 3 or higher.

If all else fails, chase the hunted animal into a cliff and it should turn around and run directly back into you. Last time I checked this worked for all small animals, including mallards, but it can be tricky to get the angle right.

Gloves only reduce damage. I picked up several crabs, using gloves; received a meager damage, but this caused an infection.

If you hunt rabbits in terrain that you can run full speed you can't switch to top speed at the last second and catch them after a small run, this can be done without the slippers aswell
