An inscription?

I was wandering around CF a couple days ago, and noticed that a ring of brodgar has an inscription on it. "Memories of Pain" it said. At the time, not having many rings of brodgar, I figured they all said that.

But now, having looked at other rings, none of them have that inscription. Is there a special inscription item I don't know about? Or was that ring unusual in some way.

The inscription "Memories of Pain" will be passed on to all things where such yarn is used.

i would have thought it came from a partly starved calv's suckling

I often get it when I using a Spinning Wheel. In other cases I didn't receive and can't say.

iirc starved (and partly starved) animals give items with that affix too. e.g. milk
so it could come from a sucklings maw too.
