Shootin at smth standing higher than you

Postby assetruler69 » Tue May 30, 2017 9:22 am

Is subj supposed to be tricky? Cause I can't hit anything which is standing on the slope of the hill(neither with bow or sling). But on the flat ground it's okay.

Make your camera be completely top-down, so you basically only see your head. This will make it accurate

Or just shoot at the target's feet.

Am I supposed to aim grid cell my target is standing on, or the target itself? It seems to work both ways some times, and it kinda annoys me.

Use :cam bad to use a free camera. Also, if you're aggroed with your target you can click the shoot cursor on their portrait to aim at them.
Total misplay.

Not in the default client though. There the only way is :cam bad.

can't really call it better since it has its own issues, namely quest, party or other pointers don't maintain proper orientation with "bad cam." Just putting that out there before someone changes camera, forgets, and then complains of bugs. ;)
