Starting Location?

Does anyone know what the world map coordinates of the starting spot are after you first spawn into the world? Or is it somewhat random still? Seems to me like it's at least partially set considering how many abandoned hearth fires and used-up tree resources I'm finding nearby.

I really just want to figure out which way to go to get away from people. xD

all random spawn , if you want to live away from player interaction your best way is to go as far as you can towards one of the edges of the map , and live walled off away from the rest of the "deadly" world and pretend it's attack on titan

lol, okay. xD Reading the guide mentioning a 'starting location' made me think there was one general spawn point in the world for everyone that you moved away from eventually. Seems that's not the case though. Good news is I figured out where I am in the world thanks to that amber's client, so that's cool. :3

That starter guide was written during a world where everyone started in a much smaller area and spread out into the world.

A lot has changed in the two years since it was written.
