To aim and shoot the animal icon in the upper right corner of the screen. And hunt with a long cliff or on the shallows.

In my opinion, such a character can effectively collect only dead animals that other players killed.

If you dont know, not everyone know every aspect of game. I just whant to know what I need to do to start hunting small animals. foxes, boars etc. And some tactics or video to show how hunt. And dont be angry anymore. We just mistunderstand eachother

The guide only covers cliff-hunting, and doesn't cover the whole "they can aggro back on you after too much melee damage" thing.

You'll want to hunt from a boat, of course, so you'll need boat-making (or need to steal a boat from someone else). You'll also still need a long, penis-shaped peninsula. For you it's probably better to have one that's shallow water, so you can chase it down / block it off with your boat.

While in the boat, aggro the fox. Sprint back to the boat and get away from it before you get hurt. Now, move the fox to the penis peninsula by tapping the boat on the shore just long enough for the fox to try to pathfind towards you. When you get to the penis, lure the fox to the tip, still on the boat.

From there, just shoot the fox with the bow until it runs away. Spam punch while still on the boat while he's running away -- if it tries to escape the penis you can use the boat to physically block it off. After a bit of punch damage the fox will re-aggro. Quickly row to safety, then lure him to the tip, repeat until dead.

Animals are now capped by the quality of arrows that you use. Most players find it to be a better use of time to get a sword and some armour and learn to hunt using melee.

Animals are now capped by the quality of arrows that you use. Most players find it to be a better use of time to get a sword and some armour and learn to hunt using melee.

Also the investment required to properly hunt/kill animals with melee is much lower than it used to be. Mostly on the player knowledge side of things, but still.
