Try
Code: Select all
java -jar <file.jar>
or
Code: Select all
javaws filename.jlnp
. Depends on client you are try to use. But last time I used hafen on linux it have lot of stability bugs

I got it to the point where the java thing would pop up and then it would say failed to start it may be my internet connection though, I don't know if you need a good internet connection to launch it the one I am trying to launch it on is censored and blocks haven I have to use tor to get on the forums, thats not my home internet connection though so I can always try it there.

if you're using something like Ubuntu or Mint it's just a matter of picking your GPU driver in the administration, update, and make sure you have the latest java, not that alternative one(type java at terminal to find out)

It would really, really help if you provide any actual details as to what it says.

There shouldn't be any. I'm using Linux exclusively, and I've never had any trouble.
