Floating Leaves?

I'm guessing it's probably something I missed in an update but I haven't been able to find anything about it through searching... What is it?

hmm what color are they?? and are they only in shallow waters?

They show up in various areas through out the forest. It looks like a gust of wind pushing leaves up that fall and gust back up again.

They speed you up as long as you keep moving while passing through them.
