What % of Food Efficacy should I keep?

Postby Mordyx » Sun Jun 11, 2017 11:31 am

As in subject.
I'm quite new here and tried to be efficent with eating.
I found that 300% was recommended on forum, but it's very hard to keep it at 300%
I play as hermit, so my food is mostly from foraging.
Running around to find some food drains my energy fast. My Food Efficacy is mostly 90%.
I played around 4 days.

Please describe here how you manage to keep it at 300%.
Playing at 90% is ok or my character is broken now and better would be to create new one?

Salt is hard to get as solo?
So until I can manage salt I should play at 90% ?

Yeah, salt is too hard to get a hold of for most, but if you can get it, it's wonderful. There are also quest rewards, but they are incosistent in what the final reward is, both in frequency of type and the amount given.

If you can, stay in the 200% area, but that can be slow, and if you're playing solo, not practical. definitely don't eat past 100% if you can avoid it. (Mathematically, time to produce food is the factor of efficiency.)

Mostly, it's how much work do you want to put in sourcing foods for FEP gains. Nothing wrong with eating everything in sight if you can make enough food.

As soon as you can get a house (or an animal burrow) to put a table and chair in, build them and decorate them the best you can to help decrease the hunger filled by food.

u can get salt if u ll be near it when it spawn ('inspect' to see time left)
here is chance that u ll be KO by fighter who wanna this salt too
dont sure : hunger lvl drops in 300%-3day 200-2day 100-1day 90-12hrs 70-6hrs
u can eat on 90% until 150totalFep (max stat)
here is multipliers for eat u can reach viewtopic.php?f=48&t=57424&hilit=pepper&start=70#p738552

Generally speaking, as long as you're not using salt, you can gain more FEPs per unit of time at the higher hunger levels as long as you have food to feed your character. The "lower" hunger levels only increase the amount of FEPs you gain per item of food, at the cost of FEPs per unit of time.

Yeah, but it's a lot worse for your satiations because you eat a lot more food per FEP event.

If your diet is rotating properly, it won't matter how much you eat as your satiations will cancel each other out over time. It again comes down to how much food you can produce in a given amount of time.

If you're rotating your diet over all groups you're doing it wrong because some groups are cleary better than others. And it takes forever and a day to reset satiations by eating.
