Rod + Fishing problem

Hi.
I tried to some fishing with Rod, but all my bait gone and I could't catch any fish. I lost 3 lures in 6 tries.
What I'm doing wrong? What I should do to catch them?

I've had similar issues. Even with really good quality rods and stuff, rod fishing just devours lures and gives little output.

imo not worth it.

Certain fish are almost guaranteed to eat certain lures. If you're losing a lot of lures, either change the lure or change the target fish.
