undergroun plants grown same speed at basement?

So i been using garden pots and now i have prove is true what says wiki and underground plants grows quite nice underground

but i hate having to walk to my mine lvl 2 to get at them and move the piles of soil and water -_-


so i expanded a lot mine lvl 1 so now is quite more easy get at them

but my question is

willl under plants grown same speed at basement as underground?

i will testing in a few days but if someone already know the answer i will like to know

4 wheelbarrows, a cart, and some stockpiles to move with the wheelbarrow. You can move 320 dirt or mulch at a time. Not so hard to move. Better--use a lot more wheelbarrows and wagons.

That said, to answer your question, a basement is not the same as underground/cave. I think the answer is just that, no, but I'd have to dig for an older post on it to be sure that's what I read.

you can take a cart to a minehole? O.o and anyways i started the test will take a few days but will see if takes more or less time in basement or same time

even if you can't (you can't IIRC, and why you can't... /shrug), carts move pretty fast underground and you can move them back and forth easily, and they're fairly cheap to build, so having more than one isn't an issue.

get a bull with a travelpack, get 3 of them to equal a cart. just need a rope for each bull
a travelpack carries 2 liftable items (wheelbarrows/garden pots) and 5x5 inventory(25 items)

as a hermit, i move my hearthfire around so i'm running to pick something up and hearthing to where it goes. cattle with travelpacks hearth with you. only annoying to go through doorways, otherwise they are simple/easy to use

and done 2 days and the one on basement is not ready all others are ready

basement is not like cave

i was hoping create many houses but now seems i beeter work in a bigger cave
