Where is the change log?

I download an update, go do something in game, discover something I've picked up thousands of times before... oh, something must have changed... what is it?

Where is the game's changelog?

I expect to come onto the forums, go into the announcement section, then load up the "1.61 updates" page or something similar, but... nope, no such thing.

so where do I find the itemised list of things that have changed?

You're used to the stuffy old school programmer types that have to enumerate everything they do. Truth of the matter is that new versions aren't necessarily an upgrade and numbering things aren't always the smartest idea. Win5.3 is obviously superior to all subsequent versions, but is no longer supported. Past that Win7 is the better choice, but lacks that integrated feel with other Windows platforms (like anyone uses a mobile version of Windows... and if you do... I'm sorry).

Then again, who can remember which is the newest update of Snow Leopard, Lion, and whatever other version names Apple comes up with?

The announcements board itself doesn't list updates in chronological order. I find the link I gave you much more reliable.
