Quest turn-in - Middle of lake?

So, yeah, rolling along the Hunter Credo, got my adder hide, and went in search of Floina... annnd the quest marker points into the middle of a lake.

Is this a bug, orrr should I throw the hide overboard in offering?

Could be that, OR it could be that you have your camera set to bad cam? If so, then switch to ortho and you'll be pointed in the true direction. Bad cam is not supported by quests.

Actually, it's just this. Quest pointers flat break on it, however, if you're at the quest giver, I've not heard of it causing issues. (I don't use it when doing quest tracking because it is broken, and haven't tried.) Odds are that the spirit you're after in a case like this is underground.

Underground? Dang. I thought maybe the camera might'a been an issue, but I've always been able to pull the camera up to a straight-down view to get the direction to go for every other quest I've done without issue.

Well, if it IS underground (oh lawd) is surface to underground 1:1? It'd be nice if I could just drop a mineshaft on a nearby shore and have just a screen or so to dig my way over.

Yes, the X:Y coordinate on the surface is the same on the level below, so if there's a nearby cave, you might be able to walk to it, or hopefully at least dig there.
