You're either using a client that is outdated, or your antivirus assumes open java to be a virus. Either way, the H&H Default Client is clean and has no virus. If you are talking about a custom client it is possible, but unlikely depending on which one you are using.

Not true.

What antivirus? The game is safe*, but some scanners are very sensitive, and some will just flag anything Java or script related. My suggestion is to ditch these things as active scanners. Anything that overflags** is just as dangerous as anything that underflags, as you're more likely to turn the thing off and on than to keep it running. All it takes is forgetting to turn it back on after a problem download, and now you've got a brick. If you want to be diligent about a download, it's best to download to a safe area, then scan the file(s) downloaded with a few different AV tools.

*It's potentially possible that you downloaded after the update and there's a code fragment in it that set it off. I doubt this, but it's possible.

**Most AV packages have a way for you to report specific files and downloads so that they can be further analyzed by the company, which then get added into the database and overall improves the software. Up to you whether you want to continue with the company or not. There are a couple of good AV packages that are overall good, but just have horrible real-time monitoring because of false and overzealous flagging.

You sure? if it happen when he tries to download ... simply his system marks it suspicious cause it cannot verify the source without SSL certificate ... i was thinking at that.

There's a certificate, which is why Java allows it to run in the first place without adding in a bunch of security exceptions.

Now, if you're talking about the log in for the secure website, well... not sure why that still uses loftar's self-signed cert instead of the same one the game uses.
