My Timber House Disappeared?

I don't know if I'm being an idiot or if this belongs in the bugs section, but my Timber House disappeared. All the stuff inside of it spawned where it was inside the house, except it's all outside now.

Are Timber Houses subject to decay when not under claim? I don't think it was destroyed, as I heard no footsteps or sounds, I just checked my game and found that the house was.. gone...

Edit: To clarify, I always have Haven and Hearth open in the background to check for things like footsteps.

That being said, it's not like decay of a house is something that just happens suddenly and unannounced; you would've seen it get worse and worse in condition over many days.

Then that's strange. I only built that house around three days ago, it just vanished. I thought it might be a bug, since I've seen stuff vanish before, but usually that's solved by restarting the game. I have no idea what happened, it was there, I moved to another page, and ten minutes later when I reopened the tab the house was no longer there. Currently in the process of getting LP to an alt to learn Yeomanry, but jeez. If something had destroyed it I feel like it would have made some sort of sound.

Sure. Counting "a matter of minutes" as five minutes specifically, the chance is 1 in about 1.66·10^206. According to common statistics, you'd have about the same chance of getting hit by fifteen meteorites IRL in those same five minutes.
