Questions about roads

the main conflict seems to centre on someone breaking a road sign, and this leaving scents

1) Does it? What about if it is on my claim?
2) How can a road "be annoying"? (see this post: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=58667&start=20#p750927 )
Do they block other roads now somehow?

1) In case at least one endpoint of a road is claimed the markers require vandalism to break them.
2) In case it's build so that the markers block your own, older road.
