Giant Puffball?

Forager quest to grab two of these. Danged if I've been able to find one though! Not sure if just unlucky, if it's particularly uncommon, or I'm just not in the right biome... or all three.

According to the Ring wiki it's greenswald and dryflat, with 500 to see it. 80perc and 100exp should cover the requisite skill; the location might be an issue. No reference for dryflats (I've poked around the brown areas around mountains - Like uh 20,-36 on the odditown map - with no luck) but I've tried what I thiiiink is greenswald (like 59,-57 on the same map) also to no avail.

Am I just in the wrong areas? Is the wiki out of date?

went out to confirm where I find them and it is on Leaf Patch Biomes where I am finding them.

Well, I hate to confuse the issue ... but, I found loads this morning in the rootbosk biome.

The wiki may, and quite often, has missing information when it gets to finer details like this. In general, it takes a lot of people digging up the details and finer parts and feeding them to us to make it on the wiki (and assuming someone on the forums gets it on the wiki), or people willing to add it to the wiki themselves when they find things in game.

Thanks MagicMan, I have actually created an account for the wiki, but unfortunately I have no real idea how to add or edit pages. Otherwise I would eagerly take on certain details like this.

Every little bit helps. easiest way to learn is to look at a similar page to what you want to create/update and attempt to follow that format.

if that seems daunting, just write up a few lines of info and paste it directly into the wiki page you're wanting to update. someone with wiki skills will eventually come along and format it correctly.

Oh no that's a biome I've been through bunch of times. Never seen a puffball. @.@ Might I ask what your perc/exp is, Amanda? Maybe mine isn't high enough... Or I've just been through biomes that look very similar in color to that area on the map, augh. Willing to give coordinate maybe?

And I totally hear ya, MagicMan, major kudos to all the folks that collate and jot down all this info. Wouldn't be able to get half the stuff done that i do without 'em.

Yw ... I did go to add them to the terrain page of the wiki but they were already on it, I didn't think about the puffball page itself, sorry.

@ Boreial ... I felt like that at first but honestly it's easier than it looks, as Ricky says just find a page similar to the one you want to edit on a separate tab and then you can copy and paste the bits you need, editing in the info you have.
