Have been unable to Experience "Ancient Windthrow"

I've been unable to Experience "Ancient Windthrow" and want to make sure it's not a bug. Over the past week I've visited every Ancient Windthrow I knew of, as well as discover quite a few more over this week. Understand I did Nomad before I did mystic and have a lot of the map filled in and had a sizeable pool of windthrows to checkout before this quest even popped up.

What I'm curious about is if anybody else has gained the Experience Event since the last update/hot fix. You should be able to tell by going into your lore events, and seeing if it is near the top. If it is, you've probably experienced it pretty recently, however it is near the bottom you may not have experienced it for awhile either.

Point is if you have experienced the event, then I'm most likely mistaken about there being a bug(still likely am), however if others haven't as well then there may be evidence of a bug.

Experiences seem to depend on others, having one happen (at least to me at times) I havn't seen in a while seems to trigger a handfull of others in rapid succession afterwards. In case that theory is right your experience might be blocked by another one that you havn't had in a while...

Do note that some experiences have longer cooldowns. The localized resources being one group. From what I understand, it's about a week.

I disagree about the time being a week, at least in all cases. I think Heartwood Tree is only about 2-3 days. I had a quest that had me experience, then gave me another quest right after that one with me needing to experience the event again. Took me two days if I'm not mistaken, maybe 3 but certainly not a week. In fact doing the Experience "Conversant Boulder" twice in a row took more time, though that was because of what a pain in the ass it was to get another Boulder quest giver. Good news was after countless quests I had a shit ton of LP, EXP, and a completely empty stomach lol.

I'll take this one under advisement, but the general point is that there are cooldowns on the different ones, and a week shouldn't be completely unexpected.

I'm well into wk two for the Dryad experience and I have now seen one but I didn't get the experience, I tried going off and coming back to see if that triggered it, twice, but it didn't and then the third time it had disappeared ...

Thing is the last time I did get the experience was awhile before it came up in the quest, maybe they did get broken or something ... idk, I'll keep trying I guess.

Experience quests are BS, abandon immediately unless it's something super common like Quenching Thirst or By Weeping Willows. It's faster, even if you wind up abandoning multiple quest in a row and then getting one to study some curio that takes a week.

Yeah, I think you are right, it's getting stupid now, tomorrow is the 2wk end and if I can't get it today then I'm going to abandon ... can't believe I'm stubborn enough to waste 2wks on it! Lol.
