How large do adder bites get before they dissipate?

Title says it all, i have a few and they just keep getting larger, kinda concerned.

Largest I've read of is 52 or so. There was a thread on it shortly after adders were introduced.

edit: did a search for the thread, couldn't find the specific thread, but did see someone report a 200 point bite.

I've had up to 37 on a 10 con alt, and up to 51 on a 400+ con main. Seems to disappear very rapidly after reaching the peak. All 51 damage disappeared in under an hour.
