I can't craft weapons!

Hello all,

I have just recently started playing the game and absolutely love it! Recently I have had an issue with not being able to craft a bow. I believe I have all the skills necessary but still do not have the option in my crafting menu! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure if I have marksmanship is that a skill you learn or an attribute to improve? If so how high does your marksmanship need to be to make weapons?

You need to buy Archery to be able to make a bow. Marksmanship is a skill you increase to improve quality of ranged weapons and skill ability.

Hey guys thanks for the quick responses. This is my first time back at the game in years as me and an old high school buddy were reminiscing on the good old Susan's remembered how good it is. It's amazing how much it's changed since then and for the better in my opinion. Also this poses a problem as I have the archery skill and still can't craft a bow. I will be posting all of my current skills in a little bit and hopefully you can tell me if I'm missing something crucial

I'm an idiot. I forgot that my first character died and was thinking i had already discovered things that I actually hadn't discovered with my new character.. Oops

hey I too just started playing and ill leave you with this little trick I just learned. When trying to quickly transfer items I accidently clicked an item with (crl)+(shift)+Lmb and it pulled up a webpage with the haven and hearth wiki. im on the amber client I don't know if that has any thing to do with it.

Yes, that is a client thing.

The thing here was that there was a character death and the new character missed rediscovery of items. Calling up the wiki pages is only of minor use if you forget this part of inheritance. It's something a lot of people miss until they get used to the way it works (and even vets will still miss it from time to time).
