You need Java.

You'll probably want to make sure you get the 64-bit version from the manual downloads instead of the version auto-served to you. (Most people still use 32-bit browsers, and that's what java.com detects.) You may also need to manually set Java to "Run in web browser" in the Java options (under Security tab).
