Anyone know how to accurately calculate bow damage?

Hi

I am trying to figure out how to calculate the damage of using a hunters bow. the wiki formula doesn't seem to be working. i was hoping someone has successfully calculated damage using a formula before.

Bow: 263q
Arrow: 285q bone arrow
Perception: 200
Targets agility: 38
Targets armor: 0
Aim: somewhere between 80-95%, i dont know how to tell my exact aim %
Marksmanship: 39
Strider bonus: 15%

Damage done: 1st shot 599 / 2nd shot 608

HERE IS MY ISSUE:

when i feed that info into the wiki formula i get the following:

795=80*SQRT(263/10)+100*SQRT(285/10)*POWER(0.85,2)
795 * +15% = 914 damage

So the way the formula reads, i should be doing 300 more damage than iam actually doing... can anyone help?

from my tests i'd say the formula is:

((bow damage * sqrt(bow q/10)) + (arrow damage * sqrt(arrow q/10))) * aim

with the following base damage:
bow 50
stone arrow 50
bone arrow 60
metal arrow 70

which mean, you can at most do 700 damage currently, when armor are above 600AC..

they never said they nerfed the base damage of the bow and arrow though. i think they would have if that was the case.

Isn't the aim modifier not a flat %, but a formula as well?

@Sevenless, last world it was %aim², now it's just %aim

About agility, things said in patchnote are true, if your opponent agility > your per, damage will be lowered.
You just need more than your opponent but perception will never boost your damage, only allow you to not be capped.
(even if it doesnt matter, target had 44agility, shooter 500per, but tested with less give the same result as long as per > agi)

i cant find any mention of bow damage being halfed in any of the announcements. uhg

was your target wearing armor?

Tested with and without armor, there is no armor penetration for arrow unlike spears/sling
(30 for spear and 20% for sling I think, 90dmg without armor, around 20 with full armor, didnt tested a lot thoses 2 weapons)
