What are the most efficient way to move large quantities of objects? I just found out the wheelcart cannot carry cupboards that are loaded, but its not really explicitly written anywhere.

Cupboards are deemed to cheap to be used as general purpose containers, that's what chests are for.

Depending on where and how you want to transport stuff:
- a Wagon filled with chests or stockpiles on wheelbarrows is the best choice (using two slots for a raft so you can cross water)
- a Knarr in case you have a convenient waterway to use
- should you be able to teleport (charter, road, hearthfire): a lifted Boat (with two chests or wheelbarrows with stockpiles), maxed inventory (verification, subscription, backpack, merc robe, two tsacks, full nomad) and as much leashed animals with packracks as you can take with you without blocking yourself

thanks, didnt know wheelbarrows with stockpiles could be loaded on a boat.
I will have to read on the verification and subscription, poor college student at the moment but this game seems worth investing.
