Study Desk transfer

How do you transfer ownership of study desk?

I started construction of a study desk on player A
finished most of the construction to completion on player B
Is the study desk owned by player A or B?

Does the study desk have to be in a claimed land? Or it could be anywhere.
Having issues with leaving a study desk full of curios for my new guy. Overnight nothing was consumed though.

edit:

Logged on, and things were consumed. They only get consumed when the account logs back in I assume.

You can leave a desk almost anywhere. You cannot leave one in a vehicle or other container--lean-to, wagon, cart. It will cease to function. Leaving one on unclaimed land will eventually lead to it decaying away.

Correct, curios are only consumed when a character is logged in. It simplifies the server processes.
