How do I improve crops

What kind of strategy do you folks use to improve crop quality?

go to the market and buy qa 3-400 seeds, then begin grind as per normal. To hell with going from like 7 again lol. That's how I started the world in May, and we got our crops to about 100 by maybe early or mid june, not too sure. Then we met a distant neighbor who gave us qa 220 and it just blew us away. Inevitably found the community fair first, by total accident, and then NK. Just to end up purchasing even higher qa. Just do yourself the same lad.

How do I find the market? And again, how is the grind done? Any good strategy?

When crops are harvested, they have a chance to gain or lose quality. So: harvest, replant, harvest, replant, harvest, replant...

as a hermit for raising Q crops i do the following procedure...

1.) plant as much as you have seeds for

2.) when you harvest hold to the side the highest Q seeds you have

3.) in a secondary field just plant those high Q seeds

4.) plant everything else in another quantity field

5.) repeat continuously slowly raising the Q of the quantity field as well as the quality field

6.) feed low Q stuff to animals (hope this doesn't effect animal Q)

Shouldn't be an issue unless you bought livestock at a market. Even at world start, crops generally start a q10+, and tamed livestock always starts at q10. Chickens and rabbits would be the exception because of the lack of a taming process.
