Amber Client Map

I've hidden my map on the Amber Client and I can't get it back. How do I do this? Also, I was unable to move it from it's position over my stamina and health bars, as the top of it, where you can drag it from, cannot be seen. If anyone can help me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Reinstalling it clear could probably help. My 2 cents.

In the future, you should take custom client issues up in the same place you downloaded them at.

That said, Amber is pretty common and most folks use it or a fork of it. The solution was pretty easy to find: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=40400&start=930#p575259

First of all, thanks for the responses.

@Tanchist, I already had re-downloaded. Hasn't fixed it.

@MagicManICT, I asked the question on the Amber Clients thread as well, I didn't get a response there. But here I did. That solution would be useful if the "Display Settings" had an option to reset windows. Alas it doesn't.

EDIT: There is however a button in the UI Settings! Thankyou for putting me on the right track.

you need to go to regedit (windows key + search regedit, enter), then search for hafen, and delete this variable:

I think there is or at least was some button like "reset window locations" in display settings or something. Pressing that button would reset windows into their default location, thus fixing your problem.

Sorry I sent you to the wrong link. I haven't been playing much recently and keeping the client up to date is more of a pain than what I log in to play for (make a few curios, harvest crops, log out), so I've missed a lot of the little changes. Glad it got you to the right place, though.

The registry edit works, too. Just as a word of caution to anyone using it: back up the registry first, and then don't fiddle around with settings you aren't sure of. You can break your computer. (Well, at least will need to reinstall/reset Windows.)
