Nettle Clothing Question

Postby Xhodan » Fri Dec 22, 2017 6:42 am

I read on Sevenless' beginner guide to Haven and Hearth, that I'm supposed to be able to get +2 or whatever the modifier is towards survival?

I made some nettle clothes, but I'm not getting this. I'm guessing make the guide is outdated? They clothes do however reduce my dexterity.

A lot of equipment no longer gives bonuses and you have to slot in gilding items. Taproot lacing gives survival among other things.

Thanks! I figured it out :)

I have a few other questions... so I just picked up fishing, I noticed I can make chum bait. Is this better then just using the larva I can get from ant hills or entrails?

http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Fishing#Bait

Different baits get ya different fish. Though I don't think the wiki list is extensive. Haven't fished since it was changed tbh. I'd just take some out and see what you get.

you can also dig the soil and get earthworms and other things for curios.

the leveling system revolves around good food and curios, but as a new player probably boosting your intellect to >100 is the best.
explore the farming aspect as you can get a lot of good quality foods through baking.
