Tips for placing wrecking ball (needed)

Postby Naeght » Sat Jan 06, 2018 12:52 am

Cant place the wreking ball close enough to the pali. Place is already filled with sents

First time i used i was able to place it closely and rotate it because i was in building mode, but i dont know how to do that while placing a lifted object :(

Should i stand with my back against the wall and place it as closely as i can? It doesn't seems to work that way...

Ended up working but now im stuck beetween the ball and the pali until the red handed buff ends

When placing other directional stuff, like a boat on land or a cupboard in a room, you can right-click the object in your arms and you can get a"ghost" object on your mouse to move around untill it fits. Shift + roll turns that "ghost" around, cycling through the 8 possible orientations in game. Pressing Ctrl while moving mouse around allows you to place the "ghost" anywhere, without mandatory sticking the grid.

When you are happy with your "ghost" position, click and your toon will try to go there and place the object in the exact same spot and orientation as the "ghost". If your path is blocked, congrats! you need to go through all of the procedure again.

I am pretty sure the siege engines can be placed just like any other object, see above.

Not sure how can you avoid your own scents, though.
Wastelands. Ruins everywhere from proud civilizations, with today's survivors scavenging whatever they can carry even if they can't even use it. Eating rats cooked alive is OK for everyone. Walking around naked is natural, since very few have time to waste in getting a rag to cover their deep wounds. And the game is only Alpha.

Can't catch a break.
Even though the wrek option apears, it started doing 40 damage and slowly lowered to 1 and then 0.
The hourglass stays in 0. Maybe im hitting the wrong part of the wall :(

Damage=40+sqrt(strength)−Soak is the equation for how much damage you should be doing also is there a shield I didnt catch that because you can only do so much damage to a shield within the span of an hour

Just a personal claim protecting the pali so no shield should be in play. i think? COuldn't find a wiki page.
After another try the same shit happens. Starts at 46 in purple numers, and slowly lowers to 20, and eventually 1.
Hourglass still stays at 0% no matter how much time i spend wrecking. Firt time i collapsed a pali this world im pretty sure it advenced a bit.

like zesto said, you can only do a certain amount of damage to shield per H once shield is low enough you will start damaging wall. thats why you only see it at 0 and not change
