Can`t expand V claim

Postby Bad_Habit123 » Sat Jan 06, 2018 6:16 pm

Hello, i`ve got such a prob: when i try to build banner game says that this land belongs to someone. I checked it many times, there are no V claims near(closest is in near 100 tiles). So i`d like to know if it`s some bug or what, or i can do smthng with it.

Not sure if the error message is bad, but 100 tiles is indeed the minimum distance between village claims.

That's the distance for personal claims. (TBH, was thinking it was 50 myself, which was what it was in legacy, so glad I saw that one, too.) Noticed this wasn't on the wiki page for Village Claims and added it. Hopefully it'll be easier to see this rule.

If it really is abandoned, it should run out of authority soon enough, so that you can remove it.

Could be worded as 'to close to another claim' to make it more clear.

Possibly error messages could be clickable (http links already work in the chat, iirc) and link into an online manual (on the homepage) explaining the possibly reason(s) why the action might have failed?
