Curio Grind

Postby arpcubone » Tue Jan 09, 2018 7:22 am

Hello, I am a fairly inexperienced player that plays each world for a few weeks as a hermit. This W10 has gone better for me than usual, and I am starting to notice that I often have attention that is not being used. What are your go-to curios for consistent gain, especially as a fledgling hermit. I currently have access to cast iron and common metals, low q leather/wings from bats and small game, and a PER*EXP of 750ish. I would love to find a few curious that are easy to mass produce and put on a study desk, currently that consists of bat wings, poppies, and feather dusters for me. Any input would be appreciated, I am sure there is something I am missing!

Take a peek at http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Curiosity to see what you can make with what you have.
Farming: straw doll, onion braid, glue troll, bouquet of flowers
Mining: toy soldiers, bronze steeds, fossil collection, irrlichts (from smelters), gems

Thanks for the curio list, I have looked through it several times but it is a very intimidating list! The information is great though, a list of a few more common crafts that the typical player makes is incredibly helpful!

Once you get a wheat crop going straw doll will be a staple of your study table, very easy to make with wheat and flax. When you start mining fossil collection will be a big one, even low quality will give you a great deal of learning points. Once you start making wrought iron blacksmiths bauble will become very easy to make fast. I focus on mining so my table is always filled out with minor gems not worth guilding. I live next to a swamp so at the end of every week i am able to make multiple enthroned toads. Hope this helps.
