Shields

If a village claim goes inactive but its shield is still up, Can I use that fact to bash the village shield to deplete a personal claim shield inside the walls as well?

And as a further note will the village claim regenerate shielding even though its authority is drained.

And if the shield is down does the visitor debuff still apply?

If the claim is inactive (out of authority/presence) then the shield isn't active.

My understanding is no, the shield of an inactive claim will not regenerate until the claim becomes active again.

If there is an active claim, even with the shield down, then my understanding is you still get visitor. (Feel free to correct me on this if I'm wrong. I don't do any raiding, so haven't taken the chances to run into this rule any.)

Alright few more questions. And thanks magic for the earlier reply saved me from wasting a few days.

You can bash up to 5k shielding an hour but does this mean the hour from when you started bashing, hit 0 damage to shield or a the turn of the hour.

Does a shield with low presence regen less?
