Wich credo for start?

Postby tyrtix » Sat Feb 03, 2018 3:13 am

I'm back checking the new things, started new toon and tried again the credo system, but from wiki and discussions i start to think only viable option is forager, and then eventually all the way up to maybe blacksmith with quarryman-mining, nomad with the various things you need before, or forager then farmer and gardener/tailor (wich i may like) and potter.

Judging by forum seems that most ppl go for nomad for having more inventory space. What you suggest?

If you want to maximize profit get all the ones that help mining.

Think long and hard if you want Mystic. If you do you have to get it ASAP (right after Forager and FIsherman), otherwise it'll be prety much impossible to get. Unless you suicide between getting credos, that is.

gone for mystic ladder, started with fishing to have some time to raise exploration and survival and get the most out of those bonus points.

Really need to emphasize this. It's a lot of lore triggered quests, and some are proving to be very slow to get for some people. Reports are weeks, and a couple of people are saying they've been on the Mystic credo for several months.

Soo true ... I honestly wish I'd never gone for it, next world will def get it sooner ... or use the suicide approach beforehand. :)

Well, we (I say we... haven't quite got to it yet...) are going on the promise that there will be something beyond Mystic at some point that will be worth the trouble, but TBH will probably be a bigger headache than even Mystic.

You do know that you can abandon a credo pursuit, right? Not saying you should, but you make it sound as if you couldn't.

Think the problem with that is in abandoning it you have to repeat the quest before it and you could very well get the same quest again.

*Edit - Additional thoughts* But yeah.. I'm only on the gardener credos myself, but I'm a greedy little hermit that wants to have it all. But even with the gardener credos I need to get lucky with a quest or becareful about planning ahead otherwise I'm stuck waiting at least a week on some quests when I currently have 6 to do per level. So it could potentially take me a month and a half to gain 1 level in gardener (potentially, though unlikely x3).

I think instead of forcing you to repeat the previous level of a credos if you choose to cancel the current quest (because it is either impossible or taking too long) that it should cost an amount of LP or XP instead, so at least people wont have to wonder if they cancel this 1 quest because it is taking far too long would they just end up with 2 quests that are just as bad?
