Way to travel across map at all?

I have a char at the other side of the map from my main char. Is there a way to transport my char to the other side of the map without walking?

Use road or vehicle.

Reasonable horse, boat with raft. With some planning you should be able to traverse the world in ~2h, should you factor in roads (like the ones to CF) you could be way quicker.
