Seal finger, how to cure?

So i tried to hunt seals the other day and got seal finger infection, i tried to heal it with toad butter but it doseent work, on wiki it says that it will heal overtime but it got worse! so anyone knows how to cure it?

Hartshorn make from deer antlers (put them into cauldron, get that sweet powder and combine it into medicine.)

did you tested it? is it works? Because on wiki also written that toad butter works but it's not. (thaks for reply btw)

That I'm aware, heartshorn is the only thing that does. Not sure where it was reported that toad butter works.

Ancient Roots always work for any wound, even if the wound has no method of healing, such as Warts.

My understanding is that it is an "infectious" wound like the adder bite and infected wound. They may get much worse before getting better. If it does heal on its own, it should say so in the in-game text description.
