How much LP does it take to max an ability?

I was thinking about this today and I would really like to know, so if you're better at math than me I'd appreciate an answer.

Well, there is no max.

But to raise an ability 1 point, the cost is 100*(new level). To go from 1 to level M you need 50*M*(M+1)-100 total LP. (See for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangular_number.)

So to get from 1 to 100 you need 504 900, to from 1 to 500 you need 12 524 900, while 1 to 1000 is 50 049 900.
